Why does the installer say my computer doesn’t have a valid serial number?

HiddenApp requires a valid Apple serial number. Follow these instructions to check that your computer has a valid serial number:

  1. Click on the Apple menu icon on the top left of your screen
  2. Choose “About This Mac”
  3. The Serial Number is at the bottom of the list
